Gift Vouchers are ordered through Magento like any other normal item, but do not require a shipping address as the vouchers are sent out via e-mail within 45 minutes of the order being placed. Once purchased you can go into the order and find the gift voucher code. It will normally look something like this: 2QMA6ZLP7J07.

Gift Vouchers are valid for 12 months once received, but this can be redeemed to store credit and will not expire.

When you order a gift voucher, there are several fields you need to fill in:

• Amount
• Amount in GBP
• Sender Name
• Sender E-mail
• Recipient Name
• Recipient E-mail
• Message

Once created, you can then find the Gift Card Account by clicking Marketing > Gift Card Accounts and entering the code in the code column.

You can then click into the account and amend the balance in the Information tab:

If you need to resend the gift voucher, you can enter the details in the tab shown below and then click "Save & Send E-mail" on the top menu.

Creating a Gift Card Account

If an order has been placed but no Gift Card Account has been created, you can manually create the gift card for them in Magento.

You do this by going to Marketing > Gift Card Accounts > Add Gift Card Account (top right). Then just input the details as they are on the original order, but leave the expiration date blank.

The downside is that this won't include the gift message - The best option would be to advise customers of this so that they can get the code sent to themselves and then send it to the person they want to gift it to with a message.
