Master Stock. Similar to bulk. Usually on palets. The inventory in MS is not plugged to the website.

OS

Online Stock. Similar to picking stock. The inventory in OS is plugged to the website.

Temporary

Reservation

• When an order is created, a product reservation is created automatically.
• A product reservation can be created manually to block stock to prepare a megapack or a mixed-case for instance.

<aside> 🙋 The reservation is virtual. We're not blocking, setting in quarantine a physical space in the warehouse.

• Reservations are taken into consideration for the Restocking (moving products from MS to refill OS) feature to make sure we're not selling products individually.

Stock available

The stock available on the website for the customer is the sum of OS stock minus the reservation or the stock with an expired Best Before Date.

Location

Location is a place in the warehouse.

A product can be associated with several locations.

A location can be 3 types : OS, MS or Temporary
